Introduction: Snowy Forest Cake

This tutorial will show you how to make a snowy forest cake! :)

Step 1: Chocolate and Chestnut Cake Recipe

Chocolate and chestnut fondant:

-200g butter

-6 large eggs

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-2*500g Chestnut Spread

Place chestnut spread in batter bowl. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave. Then add the chocolate mixture to the chestnut spread and mix until smooth.

Beat the eggs in a seprate bowl yolks with 30g granulated white sugar.

Add 4 tbsp of almond powder and 120g flour graduately to the chocolate mixture. Add the eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture. Whisk (by hand or electric mixer) for 2 minutes, until smooth.

Pour in two greased cake tins.

Bake for 30 minutes in a 365 degrees F oven (180 degrees C). Then reduce the temperature to 302 degrees F (150 degrees C) and let the cake bake for another 10 minutes. Let cake cool in oven.

SO cute! What a great idea with ice cream cones! I voted for it. If you are inclined to check it out, I have an intsructable entered (a DIY custom t-shirt quilt) in "Before & After", "Sew Warm," and "Handmade Gifts". No pressure, entering my own project made me want to check out all the other contests. Good luck!
