Introduction: Soap Dish in a Jiffy!
Who wants to get their bathroom soapy? (or soap bathroomy?)
Thats why there is a wonderful device called "Soap dish"
No one knows whether it was a creation of God or invention of man, but its a small device that helps us locate that slippery bar of soap and to keep it from getting soggy.
Here is an awesomer version of the humble soap dish made using an old plastic bottle!

Step 1: Tools and Material
Material:
- An old plastic bottle (the one I have used once held talcum powder, any other bottle should work equally well too!)
Tools:
- A black white board marker
- A ruler
- A sharp blade/knife or a pair of shears that can cut through the plastic
- Hot glue gun, with glue rods
- Soap (but, of course!)
CAUTION:
Be extra careful while using sharp instruments and hot glue gun. They can injure badly if not used properly! If necessary, request someone to help you with them

Step 2: Measuring the Size of the Soap
Place the soap along side and decide how big you want your dish to be
Step 3: Mark the Lines
Mark lines as shown below using the dry erase marker.
Use ruler if you want, or you can end up with fancy shape with the edges!
The 'ribbons' on the either side are about half an inch wide. They form the legs of the soap dish.

Step 4: Cut Along the Lines
Using the sharp blade/knife cut along the lines carefully
In the picture below you will have a dish and two legs.
Erase the marker lines once you are happy
With the left-over material, you can make one more soap dish :)

Step 5: Hot Glue the Legs
Using the hot glue gun, attach the ribbons to the base.
Ensure proper spacing between the legs so that the dish stands properly

Step 6:
Once the glue has cooled down and set, you wil have a soap dish as shown
I have shown it with 85 g (3 oz) bar of soap
it sits nicely in the space provided
The space below allows air to circulate, drying the lower surface of the soap too

Step 7: Buckling and Wobbling!
The soap dish is made from thin plastic, so it does go down slightly under the weight of the soap, as shown in this picture
You might need to trim the lengths a bit if the soap dish wobbles too much
Have fun making this soap dish!
May your soap remain clean and dry :)
