Introduction: Soda Can Lamp in Less Than 1$
I had a few empty cans so thought of making something.
Then I got an idea to make a SODA CAN LAMP.
It is really easy to make it and it takes very less time.
Hope you enjoy making it.
Step 1: Things You Need
An empty soda can
A compass
An eraser
Pair of scissors
A tea light candle or a small led.
Step 2: Cutting the Can and Punching
Cut the can from the top and cut it into a sheet as shown in the picture.
Now fold the edges of the can because the edges are very sharp.
Next draw the design you want to make. Punch holes along the outline of your design with a compass
keeping the eraser at bottom of the tin sheet.
Fold the sheet and staple the two ends of the sheet in together to make a cylinder.
Light a tea light and place the shade on the tea light
And you have a lamp in less than 1$

Another method is to fill the can with wet sand, freeze it then use a small hammer & nail to punch the pattern into the can. Then cut the top of the can off. Get sand from the pet shop, builders merchant or the beach if you are near enough. :)

Wouldn't you get the rough side of the hole punch on the outside that way?
