Introduction: Solar Powered Light That Works in the Dark.

This project is a light that turns on in the dark. The battery that powers the light is rechargeable, and is connected to a solar panel. This project is good if you want to have a lamp that charges up during the day, and turns on when it is dark outside. The goal of this project was to take apart a solar powered lamp, and use the components for other potential applications.

Materials:

Solar powered lamp.

Wire cutter.

4 pieces of wire.

Electrical tape.

Solar panel.

LDR Light Sensor.

Screw Driver.

Step 1: Use screw driver to unscrew cover for solar powered lamp.

Step 2: Use wire cutter to separate circuit board from the rest of the project.

Step 3: Remove solar powered battery from the lamp.

Step 4: Use wire to connect new components with the circuit board. Make sure to attach wires to the old soldering points. Use electrical tape to hold the wires in place.

Step 5: You can now use this project in any container you would like.
