Introduction: Sour Cream Cookies

For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

3 Cups of flour

1 Teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 Teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 Teaspoon of salt

1 1/2 Cup of sugar

2 Eggs

1 Cup of sour cream

1 Teaspoon of vanilla

(some extra sugar and cinnamon)

Step 1: Gather All of Your Ingredients

These will be your eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda and powder, sour cream, vanilla, butter, cinnamon, and salt.

Step 2: Gather All of Your Utensils

You will need 2 mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, spoons, rubber spatula, several cookie sheets, and an electric mixer.

Step 3: Mix All of Your Dry Ingredients Into a Mixing Bowl

Next pour the 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and the 1/2 teaspoon of salt into your mixing bowl.

Step 4: Add Your Other Ingredients

Now add your cup of butter to your clean mixing bowl along with the 1 1/2 cup sugar and your 2 eggs.

Step 5: Mix

Now mix all of the ingredients together with the electric mixer.

Step 6: Add the Dry Ingredients

Now slowly add the dry ingredients into your other bowl and continue mixing.

Step 7: Add the Sour Cream and Vanilla

Now add 1 cup of sour cream into the mixture along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla and continue mixing.

Step 8: Let the Mixture Cool

Now that your mixture is complete let it cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 9: Mix the Cinnamon and Sugar

Mix the cinnamon and sugar together to your liking.

Step 10: Spray Your Cookie Sheet

Now use some sort of non stick baking spray to spray your cookie sheets so your cookies do not stick.

Step 11: Preheat Your Oven to 375°F

Step 12: Scoop Your Cookies Onto the Tray

Now scoop your mixture onto your cookie sheets make sure you have enough space in between the cookies so they don't run together. Once they are placed on the tray add your cinnamon and sugar topping to your cookies--you can add as much as you like.

Step 13: Place Your Cookies Into the Oven

Now place the the cookies into the oven to bake for 10 minutes or until they are golden brown around the edges.

Step 14: Let Them Cool

Now that your cookies are done remove them from the tray and allow them to cool for several minutes.
