Supplies

Materials:

  • 1 cake box with materials needed for the cake
  • 1 cup of white chocolate
  • Food coloring (yellow, red, green)
  • Betty Crocker White frosting
  • Chocolate Sprinkles

Supplies:

  • Bowls
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoons
  • Toothpick
  • Cake pop sticks
  • Ziploc
  • Scissors

Step 1: Making Cake Batter

Follow the instructions on the cake box and mix with a whisk until everything is incorporated.

Step 2: Filling the Pan

Grease the pan with butter or baking spray, whatever you prefer, and then drip the batter to your pan with the help of a spatula.

Step 3: Baking

Follow the instructions on the back of your cake box to know how much time you need to bake the cake. Once it's ready, take it out and let it cool down for about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Mix, Mix, Mix

Put the cake in a bowl and with a fork start crumbling the cake until you have little pieces that could be crumbled together. Then, little by little, start adding vanilla frosting and mixing until your mixture looks like the third picture. Make sure not to add too much frosting because then the balls will break.

Step 5: Make the Balls

Using a measuring spoon of 1 TBSP start making the balls, by using this they will all turn out the same size. After you finish making the cake balls, you have to put them in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 6: Put in the Sticks

Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Put 30 seconds by 30 seconds, so your chocolate does not burn. Then grab the sticks you are going to use and dip them in chocolate and then stick them in the cake ball, and again put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

Step 7: Dip in Chocolate

Again, melt the white chocolate and dip your cake pop and put them in a foamy covered in aluminum so that your chocolate stays in circular shape. Then, add food coloring to create the orange color and then the green and repeat the steps. Lastly, put them in the freezer until your chocolate hardens and are ready for decorating.

Step 8: Let's Decorate Them!

Melt the chocolate and put it in a Ziploc, the cut the tip so that the chocolate can come out. Drip the chocolate in different ways so that it looks like a mummy, then with milk chocolate and a toothpick make the eyes. For the pumpkin, paint the chocolate in the Ziploc green and make the pumpkin roots and with the toothpick add the stem. Lastly, for the green one, add whatever sprinkles you have to the top of it. Put them in the freezer before you can eat them!

Step 9: Let's Keep Decorating!

Again, using the Ziploc make the veins for the eye and for the eyeball use a milk chocolate chip and with the toothpick do a dot in the center. For the Jack, using the toothpick, create the eyes and the mouth until it looks like the picture. For the orange one, drip the chocolate like you did in the mummy one. For the Frankenstein, also with the toothpick and some chocolate sprinkles, create the face and the hair. Put them in the freezer before you can eat them!

Step 10: ENJOY @ HALLOWEEN!

Take out of the freezer and enjoy your cake pops at halloween with your friends and family! Delicious!
