Spooky Painting

In this project we built an interactive painting, which by means of servos, leds and ultrasonic sensors a scary image is shown when you get close.

Supplies

We are going to need:

Arduino x1

240 Ohm resistor x2

Servo Motor x1

Led's x2

Chopstick

A3 Wooden Board

Cables 

Protoboard

Step 1: Back Board

First we are going to cut a wooden board into our desired size, in our case A3, 297 × 420 mm.

Step 2: Supports

Next we are going to ad 4 supports in each corner where the frame is going to sit.

Step 3: Frame

The following step is to cut de frame to size. Cut each corner in 45º angles so then it forms a perfect square.

Step 4:

This is the moment where we are going to make wholes in the back board, at the height of the eyes of your image, where later we are going to stick at the LEDS.

Step 5: Image

Once the supports are glued, it is time to cut the image into size and stick it to the board. And after stick the frame to clean everything up.

Step 6: Circuit

The circuit is pretty simple.

We are going to connect the LEDS, each at a port, 8 and 9.

The servo motor is connected in port number 5.

The ultrasonic sensor, the Trigger is connected to port number 2 and the Echo at port number 3.
