Squiggly Pokeball

Intro: Squiggly Pokeball

I was looking for a way to recycle old plastic bottles, so I came up with a pokeball container. Although the idea isn't exactly new, I've never seen one that turned it into a pokeball, so here it is.

STEP 1: Materials

You'll need:

2 plastic bottles
cutter
scissors
red and white nail polish or acrylic paint
brush
scissors
marker
glue (I forgot to include in the photo)

STEP 2: Cutting the Base

Cut the base to serve as the pokeball top and bottom.

STEP 3: Coloring

Color one half red and the other half white. You can choose to use either nail polish or acrylic paint.

STEP 4: Lining

With your marker trace a line at the rim of the red half of your pokeball.

STEP 5: Center

Create the center design for your pokeball. Place a white dot and encircle it with black marker. After it dries cut around the design and glue to the red half of your pokeball.

STEP 6: Place Together

Join the two halves together.

That's it! It can be placed on top a shelf or on the kids area and can be filled with supplies and other small objects. (or a pokemon)

Nice make-it-in-15-minute project.

I wonder, how can we fasten both sides? hook and loop, magnets?
