Introduction: Star Watermelon - Watercolor Painting Process

Here's the process of my latest watercolor painting. For the step by step process please check the video :)

Step 1: Hair

I paint wet on dry two layers of yellow on the hair, leaving lighter areas for reflections.

Step 2: Skin and Eyes

I paint wet on dry skin and first layer of the eyes.

Step 3: Remaining Details

Once paint dried, I define new details on the eyes and I color the watermelon.

I paint the background with wet on wet technique.

Step 4: End!

I define lines with pigment liner and increase saturation of colors with colored pencils.

In the end I add reflection with white paint.
