Introduction: Steel Python Knex Roller Coaster- Instructions
It's back everybody- Steel Python!
This model is the recreation of my older design, with a few minor changes, since I never had specific pictures of the original. This design of course has its flaws, so you may have to fiddle around with it until it works correctly. As for me, when I made the instructable the track's adjustments became warped and then it didn't work any more. Sorry that I couldn't get a parts count for you, but deconstruction started right after I finished taking pictures. It sounds dumb, I know, but this is my first instructable.
So after some requests, here it is! The instructions for Steel Python.
Enjoy, and remember to leave a comment, and feel free to post your version of this coaster. Thanks!

Step 1: Beginning of Chainlift
This is where the chain lift starts (obviously). Pay close attention to the gear's positioning! There are three modules to this step.
These are the basic divisions of each step:
-Parts make up sections
-Sections make up modules
-Modules make up steps!
Not to complicated, right?

Step 2: The Lift Hill
These are the three modules that connect to make the lift hill of the coaster. Pay close attention because it's easy to get lost!
Step 3: The Motor?
This is a small step, because all it is is the motor system!
Step 4: Drop Support Tower
This is the tower that supports the drop and also the rest of the lift hill. There are two modules in the making of this step.
Step 5: Extra Base and Supports
This step shows you how to build the base that leads up to the corkscrew and that maintains the bottom section of the drop. There are a total of three modules that must be connected together to create it.
Step 6: More Base and Supports
Turn your model around, because this step is added onto the other side! Finally, something on the other side! Your almost finished making the base of the Steel Python!
Step 7: Even More Base and Supports
This is the homestretch! Your'e thiiis close to laying down some track!
Step 8: The Chain Lift Track
You have finally reached the stage of putting on track! Yay!
Step 9: The Drop
This is the drop part of the track.
Step 10: The Corkscrew
This is the corkscrew section. Make all necessary adjustments needed to get the car to make it!
Step 11: The Homestretch
This is the final track module needed to create a complete circuit!
Step 12: The Chain
This is the chain for the coaster. I didn't get specific pictures for this step. Chain goes over all chain guides and nowhere else. Remember, the loser the chain, the smoother the lift. If you make the chain too tight, the chain's flow will be rather choppy. It helps if the chain itself runs underneath the washered blue rod introduced in step 2, and under the base structure. This way it doesn't get in the way of the corkscrew.
Step 13: The Catwalk
These catwalks make the coaster look more realistic and a lot more official. Of course, you don't need to build them, but I added them for decoration. just align them with the side of the lift hill, and it will connect perfectly. Do it on both sides. The top decor is also unnecessary, but it's a fun decoration and you don't need to build it. Just connect it onto the topmost yellow connectors on the lift hill.
After that your'e done! Thanks for building!
