Intro: Steel Privacy Screening

I used a steel frame with mild steel sheeting (cut into strips) to create panels, which are bolted onto the wall.

I left the steel untreated so that it would rust. The rusted steel could be sealed to prevent further rust or the panels could be powder-coated or painted any color.

Where did you get the steel and what is the cost?

I got the steel from a local steel merchant in Johannesburg (I'm in South Africa) in 2.1 x 1.2m sheets - they also cut the steel into strips for me.

I can't remember the total cost, but it was not an expensive exercise... unless you need plenty of panels that is ;-)
