Introduction: Strawberry Danish

In just a few simple steps you will learn how to make the best homemade strawberry danishes.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients/ Preheat Oven

To make these delicious pastry treats you will need

- Cream cheese

- Powder sugar

- Vanilla

- Store bought puff pastry

- Strawberries

Preheat the oven to 425

Step 2: Make the Filling

Now its time to make the filling! Mix 1/3 cups of cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and a 1/2 a cup of powdered sugar on medium for 1 minute in your mixer. Then set it aside for later.

Step 3: Cut Up the Strawberrys

Cut up 6-7 strawberries into thin slices.

Step 4: Cut the Dough

Now roll out your dough and cut it into 6-8 slices.

Step 5: Add the Filling

Put a teaspoon of filling on each pastry slice then put 4-5 strawberries on top.

Step 6: Fold Pastry Over

Now its time to fold the pastry over and pinch the sides shut, so the fill doesn't fall out.

Step 7: Cut Venting Holes

Cut 1-3 venting holes on the top of each pastry.

Step 8: Cook Your Pastries

You may need to spray your pan to insure you pastries won't stick. Cook your pastry's for 15-20 minutes, or according to the time on your puff pastry package.

Step 9: Cool

Once your danishes are out of the oven let them cool for 5 minutes.
