Strengthen Your Robot With Sugru

In our hackerspace www.MADspace.nl we have build a robot which has won a prize (see url: http://hackaday.io/project/740-mars). But unfortunately the material is weak and can break when driving the robot too hard against the wall. With Sugru you can make great bumpers for your robot on wheels. See below:

Step 1: Find the Weakest Parts of the Robot

Step 2: Press Sugru Softly on the Weak Points

Step 3: Repeat Adding More Surgu Until All Weak Parts Are Strengtened

This is a great use for sugru. In the past, where you may have glued on a piece of rubber, or zip-tied on some foam, you can just mold a bit of this stuff. Sugru is so great. Nicely done!

It's a terrible use. You want something rigid, not flexible for reinforcement of a rigid area.
