Introduction: Streusel Topped Banana Bread

It seems like we always let our bananas go to long, so they get black and no one wants to eat them. The good part is we get to make banana bread! this is a great recipe and goes along with breakfast lunch and dinner, also its pretty healthy... Enjoy!

Step 1: You'll Need...

To get started you'll need to measure out your ingredients, this recipe makes one small loaf, so you may need to double or even triple the recipe (I Tripled it and made two larger loaves)

  • 1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder

Step 2: Mixing the Batter

First, pre-heat your oven to 350o , and grease one mini loaf pan.
Now mix your flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. Next mix together your bananas, eggs, sugar, and melted butter in a large bowl. Then gradually beat in flour mixture. Once your Batter is ready pour it into your greased pan.

Step 3: Making the Streusel

Now you're ready to add the Streusel. First, add your flour brown sugar, softened butter, nutmeg, and cinnamon into a bowl, then mix until it gets crumbly. Now sprinkle Streusel evenly over the batter.

Step 4: Baking

Now bake your batter at 350o for 30 minutes, or until brown. Then let the bread sit in the pan for at least 10 minutes before removing. Now (hopefully) you've completed your banana bread!
