Introduction: Stuffed Pizza Bagel Balls
Two favorites in one - pizza and bagels! Easy, delicious homemade pizza bagel balls.
Bowl for mixing
Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup Greek yogurt
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1 ounce pepperoni (16 slices)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons garlic powder
Step 2: Preparation & Mixing Ingredients
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place silpat on baking sheet.
In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add yogurt and mix with a fork until well combined.
Step 3: Preparing Dough
Lightly dust flour on work surface and remove dough from bowl, knead dough until dough is tacky but not sticky, about 15 turns.
Divide dough into 8 equal balls. flatten each ball into circle.
Step 4: Filling Bagel Ball
Place two slices of pepperoni on each circle and top with 1-2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bring the dough together over the cheese and pepperoni and roll into a ball making sure the dough is sealed.
Place each ball on the silpat.
Step 5: Finishing the Bagel Balls
Brush each bagel ball with melted butter
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and oregano on top of each ball.
Bake on top rack of oven for 25 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes before eating.
Serve with your favorite tomato sauce/pizza sauce for dipping.
