Introduction: Styrofoam Letters

About: I'm a mom of 4 and I love to craft! Anything and Everything interests me and i love to create in the process of learning.

Every kid wants there name up there...if not in lights then at least in their bedroom wall!
Here is an inexpensive way to recycle Styrofoam a and get those letters up on the wall!

PLEASE Don't forget to vote for me ...(that is if you wish to)...it's on the top right hand corner
I've entered in the holiday gifts competition...Thank you

Step 1: Materials

3/4" or 1 " thick styrofoam
acrylic wall filler
acrylic paint/ fabric paint
Hot wire cutter/ Soldering iron
paper
pencil
carbon transfer paper

Step 2:

Write the name you want in a paper and transform it to the Styrofoam with carbon paper. Next cut it with a Hot wire cutter or soldering iron . I had my homemade table top Styrofoam cutter so no problem! for others who don't have....no problem...get a 60w soldering iron (which is cheap and just go around your letters....only don't get too close as it might burn too much!

Step 3: Cut Letters

As you can see...the styrofoam has holes....doesn't look good...
so i filled it with wall filler ...let it dry well and sanded it.

Step 4: Painting Ideas

Now paint it how you like....Here are some ideas!
Wrap it up carefully and gift it!
