Introduction: Summer House

Last summer I made this wonderful Summer House retreat. All from Recycled wood, Pallets, recycled glass and recycled old galvanized roof panels. Absolutely on my own. It was not easy to get the wood square as many pieces had bowed etc , Also I had to make window frames and straighten the galvanize. I am only a hobbyist and no training

Supplies

Pallets, reclaimed wood,Glass panes no frames, Recycled bent Galvanise, old bed frame

Step 1:

First I had to erect the bowed supporting posts. After this, I attached the pallets,I then had to make windows cills from old water-damaged planks. I followed this by making frames for the windows out of old architraves. Then attached the windows to the cills. Followed by making and attaching the roof joists. I then sealed all of the windows with exterior sealant. Using more reclaimed wood I made the house frames ready to then attach the reclaimed shiplap outside and panel the inside. Finally, I cut and reshaped the galvanized. Attached is the roofing windshield, leftover from my garage Then attached the galvanize. Moving on then to the door frame and then attaching a door reclaimed from an old cottage in the neighborhood. Finally mixing a few colors from left over exterior paint until i reached the creamy yellow I had invisioned
