Introduction: Super Quick, Super Easy Forum Signature

In this instructable, I show how to make a very basic forum signature / avatar. You will learn how to use transparency and layers too!

So lets get to it.

Step 1: Open the First Image.

Open an image you want to use for the background in your favourite art or photo editing program.

Step 2: Open a New Layer.

Make sure it is on top of the background. To open a new layer, click the button that looks like a sheet of paper with a green plus sign next to it.

Step 3: Copy and Paste the Next Image Into the New Layer.

Right click the image and select copy. Click the paste button, and ta daa, the image appears. I know it looks funny, but keep going.

Step 4: Set the Opacity to Low.

On the layers window, click the button that looks like a tag and a pencil. Another window should open up. Slide the opacity down until you like the effect.

Step 5: Save It!

Don't forget to save your progress!
