Introduction: SwineApple
This amazing creation will make you beautiful, skinny, smart, sexy and rich!
WHATEVER…. who really wants all that? #most of us…LOL
Really, we just want good food to enjoy with family and friends:)
Step 1: Swine-mazing-apple!
Invite all your friends over as this will be something they WILL NOT want to miss!
Step 2: Ingredients
Go get yourself a fresh sweet, soft at the bottom core whole pineapple.
1 pound of bacon (you may not use it all, but thats ok because you can make bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers too:)
1 package pork loin roast, or you can use boneless pork ribs too!
Seasoning - now don't back down from this part…get you some "bone sucking sauce, and pork Butt Rub etc…
Tooth picks
THATS ALL YOU NEED!!!
NO, I am NOT kidding, and yes, yes, yes my new BEST friends...your welcome:)
Step 3: Grill, Smoke or Bake
Peel and core your beauteous pineapple …THS is the HARDEST part!! Try not to break the pineapple while you get the center out. NOTE: You WILL make a huge mess so be prepared.
Next season the heck out of your pork. You can pre marinade or just season.
Stuff your pieces of pork INTO your pineapple. You may have to cut pieces to fit inside.
Wrap bacon around the outside of the pineapple.
Use toothpicks as needed to secure in place.
Now grill, smoke or bake your Swineapple.
Be sure to cook it for long enough for the pork inside to be done.
Grill - Low to Med heat TOP rack, Smoke for about 4 hours, or bake at 350 for about 2 1/2 hours, then maybe broil for a few minutes to get outside bacon crisp.
DO NOT TURN ONCE ON THE GRILL UNLESS YOUR A MASTER TURNER OR IT WILL FALL APART!
My pic is AFTER my husband decided to "help" and turn my masterpiece on the grill.
Step 4: ENJOY
ENJOY…enjoy the food, enjoy the compliments, enjoy the adulation of your family and friends and above all! Post pics for your friends to see what an amazing, innovative BBQ aficionado you are!
