Introduction: T-shirt Necklace
How to re-use or recycle an old or worn out T-shirt into a necklace.
You are going to need either fabric scissors or rotary cutter. (A rotary cutter is fairly easy to use with this project.)
Also you will need a cutting mat to protect your table top.
Obviously you will need a T-shirt.

Step 1: Lay Shirt Flat
First lay the T-shirt on a flat surface on top of the cutting mat.
Step 2: Cut Strips
Cut one inch strips across the midsection of the shirt. Don't worry if they are perfect or not. You won't see the edges when you are all done.
Step 3: Bottom
Save the bottom strip and cut it open. You will use this later.
Step 4: Stretch Strips
Stretch out all the other one inch strips then loop them over once. Matching up all the seams.
Step 5: Wrap
Wrap the last strip over the seams of the other strips until they are all completely covered and then tuck the end under.
Step 6: Optional Stitch
You can add a stitch at the end but it should hold just fine without it.
Step 7: Enjoy
You are done. Enjoy your new necklace. :)
