TELEPRESENCE ROBOT Version 2 (DIY AVATAR)

This new version is made with raspberry-pi, an Arduino, mobile router and Motorized HD camera. The objective of using bricks existing technologies and combine them to create a avatar robot. This robot will allow us to see, hear, move around and chat with people around the robot from a simple Web browser, so from anywhere in the world.

[REGO embarque un Raspberry pi, ce qui l'allège considérablement par rapport à la version 1. Il possède désormais une tablette tactile sous Andriod 4.0. L’interface de commande du robot est désormais intégrée sur le serveur web du Raspberry pi. Donc, le robot peut être piloté à partir d’un simple navigateur web. Un routeur portable embarqué compatible Wifi et 3G est "LA" solution sans fil pour connecter son Raspberry pi au monde extérieur. Un Arduino UNO assure la gestion des capteurs.
