TERMINATOR II Cosplay - Automatic Eye Movement

This is a instructable about easy Terminator II cosplay, with the special feature of automatic eye movement.

Supplies

• metallic skull mask
• Ipod nano 6Gn
• black sunglasses
• plastic, glue, colors, pair of scissors
• rest of the Terminator costume (leather jacket, toy pistol, etc).

Step 1: Get the Metallic Mask

• I suppose you can make your own replica, but I think it makes more sense to buy a plastic metal-painted skull mask in any store or paint it in metallic colour.
• Cut the mask to simulate the visible terminator skull. 
• Put some plastic with red and black paint on the edge. Perhaps you can use fake blood, but i want to do a more child-friendly costume.
• Use the sunglasses to fix the mask to the face.

Step 2: Eye's Movement: Ipod Nano 6Gn

• Use a sixth generation iPod nano (great device, discontinued). You can get it refurbished or a replica.
• Use an image of Hall9000's eye, edit it several versions with the iris in different positions (or use mine).
• You can put funny message in the images ("I'll be back", "Hasta la vista, Baby","seaching for John Connor"...).
• Load the selected images to the ipod.
• Configure the ipod in presentation mode. The carrusel start.
• Put the ipod nano inside the sunglasses.
• Use your free eye to avoid an accident

Step 3: Enjoy

• Better result by late evening or night
• I use the blue light of the toy pistol for artistic lighting effects
• Better result with shaved breast
• Enjoy looking for John Connor (don't be rude with him)
