THE GOOD DINOSAUR

Introduction: THE GOOD DINOSAUR

About: Busy at making things in own idea, because I m a creator....

Hi guys,
In this instructable, I'll guide you to do the goof dinosaur as a toy.
Toys are kids lovable friend, dinosaur toys take a huge place on it. So I mixed (toy+dinosaur) and did it myself (DIM).
In that, I felt happy to share with you how I did it
Let's start to make it.

Supplies

Drawing kit (include A3 sheet),

Thermocol (1'' thick),

Cardboards,

Maida flour,

Old newspapers,

Fine grit (150) sandpapers,

Watercolour paints,

Form cutter (if u have) or else soldering rod.

Basic DIY kit (scissors, knife, glue),

Hot glue gun.

Step 1: DRAW YOUR OWN GOOD DINOSAUR

If you are familiar in drawing, draw your 2D good dinosaur in an A3 sheet in landscape direction.

If you're not familiar in drawing, then print it.

Step 2: TO EASY DIY PURPOSE

To make it easy, I split out the full body into 3 portions, that head & neck, body with legs and tail.
Because head & neck and tail are in the same shape and body with legs in different shape.

Step 3: CARDBOARD WORK

Trace all the parts of the dinosaur in cardboard and cut it separate.
Make sure they are in 2 sets of Left and right.

Step 4: THERMOCOL WORK

Do the same as cardboard work, trace all the parts of the dinosaur and cut it separate by using a form cutter or a soldering rod.
Make sure that they are in 2 sets of Left and right side.

Step 5: STOW FILLERS

Fillers are used to stowing in between the left and right side of the body to increase its stomach area shape.

Step 6: STICK CARDBOARD PARTS WITH THERMOCOL PARTS

Stick cardboard parts( left and right ) with thermocol parts by the help of glue.
In this cardboard, parts are outside.

Step 7: BODY-ASSEMBLE

Jon 3 parts longitudinally by help of a hot glue gun.

Step 8: WHITE GLUE PREPARATION

To prepare White glue, use maida flour mixed with water and boil it, it becomes a gel, we can use it as White glue.
Let's do prepare it.

PROCEDURE 1:
Take 100 mg of maida flour in a bowl.

PROCEDURE 2:
Add some water and mix both well.

PROCEDURE 3:
Boil this mixture in a medium flame and continuously stir becomes a gel state and switch off the flame

PROCEDURE 4:
Cool this to 30 minutes and ready to use it.

Step 9: OLD NEWSPAPERS

Use old newspapers and cut them into 7*3cm pieces to cover up the dinosaur.

Step 10: ROUGH PACKING or FIRST PACKING

Apply white glue over the body of the dinosaur with newspaper pieces and pack full body.

Step 11: LET IT DRY

Leave this set up in direct sunlight for 6hrs.

Step 12: SECONDARY PACKING or FINISH PACKING

Do the same, once again did in first packing and cover over a dinosaur, this makes the dinosaur super strong.

Step 13: LET IT DRY

Then leave this set-up for 6hrs in direct sunlight.

Step 14: SAND PAPER WORK

Use 150 grit (fine) sandpaper to remove excess white glue in the dinosaur and also make a smooth surface.

Step 15: COLOURING

Use watercolour paints(your wish) to complete the dinosaur.

Step 16: ADD DETAILS

Add eyes, feet and whatever parts missed in DIY making, by freehand draw.

Step 17: CONCLUSION

This toy is weightless and non-toxic, so kids more than 2 years of age can use it and play with it.

And also to patents Can get satisfaction on own DIY toy making to our kids.
