- Matte yellow seed beads

Step 1: The Sketch and All the YELLOW Elements

Gather all the yellow elements you wish to use to create your earrings.

Start by drawing the sketch of your earring, taking into account the shapes and the desired effect with the shades of yellow. When it is finished, superimpose the crystals, pearls, the clasps and drops to better imagine the jewel.

Select 4 soutache colors:
Intense Yellow, Light Yellow, Mango Yellow and Carracci Yellow.

Bring a roll of nylon thread, scissors and brick.

Step 2: Form a Single Drop

To make this drop, you need to take 2 soutache cords: Intense Yellow and Light Yellow.

Place a thin layer of glue on the edge of the crystal drop, then let the Light Yellow soutache cord stick for a few minutes. When it is dry, sew over the Intense Yellow soutache cord with the very fine needle. Sew a small caramel-colored bead on each side then unify them.

Step 3: Add a Row With Pearls

To double this row, sew a series of small Yellow seed beads between it and a new one made up of 3 soutache colors: Intense Yellow, Mango Yellow and Carracci Yellow (which is thicker).

Then sew a Miyuki round satin Gold Yellow glass bead on each side of the drop.

Step 4: Form the Smallest Element

Use a Miyuki Tila California Gold Rush bead to create the upper part of the earring.

This square bead is perforated with 4 holes. Sew it with 4 soutache cords: 2 Intense Yellow, 1 Light Yellow and 1 Intense Yellow. Cut it very short to stick it behind the previously made piece. Secure it for a few minutes with small pliers.

Step 5: Form a Round Crystal

Take 2 strings of soutache: Intense Yellow and Light Yellow to form the round crystal.

Glue the Intense Yellow soutache rope on the edges of the crystal. Then sew over the Light Yellow soutache cord. Burn the excess cords and cut them at this point.
Sew a series of Yellow seed beads between this round shape and 2 soutache cords: Intense Yellow and Mango Yellow. When you have done the trick, burn and cut the excess strings. Glue this part on the central piece made before.

Step 6: Make a Second Row

Form parentheses on each side of this piece with the colored soutache cords: 2 Intense Yellow and 1 Light Yellow.
At the top, sew 2 round Yellow Gold Miyuki beads. At the bottom, sew 2 small pearls in Caramel color.

Step 7: Snap Clasps and Drops

To attach the Yellow Gold rhinestone clasp, open the loop and thread its ring through the 1st row of soutache cord. Close the ring with suitable pliers.
Sew 5 faceted Yellow Czech beads on each side of the piece with the round crystal. Secure them with tiny Yellow Gold beads at the tip. Then sew the 4 even at the bottom to form a tie. Take a golden ring, open it with the pliers and pass it through the Yellow crystal drop. Then thread it into the clip made before. Close the ring with the pliers.

Step 8: The Back With YELLOW Felt

Take yellow felt. Draw 2 shapes a little larger than the size of the crystals: 1 round and 1 oval. Glue them behind to get a nice looking behind.
Reproduce this earring a second time to form the pair.

Step 9: Life in YELLOW !!!

It's the grand finale in the colors of the sun, TOTAL YELLOW!!! A radiant color that inspires joy, good humor and elegance.

This is how to highlight a single color, with materials selected with care, originality and YELLOW as the only criterion. You can find my creations on my page: www.etsy.com/shop/MailletHandmade
