Hi friends,How are you?,We all are know that recycled paper card boards are used every day for packaging and other purposes.I come with a plan to reuse it in anew way.let see that in the following steps

Step 1: WHY I CREATE THIS

we all are know that global warming and other environmental problems are increase in a dramatic manner.

In our locality,one can't sit inside the house in daytime,even for hours after sunset,due to the increased heat.There may be some sort of temporary solutions like air conditioner ,but most of the required power also produced from non renewable fuels that also increase the heat of the earth.I try to create a temporary solution at least for summer days.

Many people in our locality do poultry keeping ,the chickens also unable to resist the heat,because many trees are uprooted by a storm,So I want to make a cost effective sun shade for that.

There are millions of people still homeless in the world,I try to make a small house from my idea

Step 2: MATERIALS NEEDED

  • RECYCLED PAPER CARDBOARD - REFRIGERATOR PACKAGING BOXES WILL BE STRONG ENOUGH FOR THIS PROJECT
  • TIMBERS OR IRON PIPES (FOR SUPPORTING PILLARS)
  • ROPE
  • STEEL WIRE
  • CUTTING PLIER
  • MEDIUM SIZE NEEDLE (OR OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR HOLE MAKING)
  • TARPAULIN (OPTIONAL)

Step 3: DIG THE PITS FOR MOUNTING PILLARS

Plan before you dig the pits,How large you are going to make the structure, then mark the points for digging dig the pits about 1 feet depth

Step 4: MOUNT THE PILLARS

Put the timbers or iron pipes into the pits ,tightly pack the pits with gravel or ordinary soil

Thus you make the supporting pillars for the roof.

Step 5: FRAME STRUCTURE FOR ROOF

Using small timbers or pipes make the frame structure by tying together with the support pillars using ropes.tight the ropes well enough.

Step 6: MAKE THE ROOF

Unfold the packaging box by cutting only one edge, so that it will unfold.

Put it over the roof structure.

Make small holes in the card board to tie it with the frame structure

Cut a piece of steel wire and tie the card board and the frame structure through the hole

continue the above steps until you cover the full frame with the card board by placing the card boards over one another.

Step 7: COVER WITH TARPAULIN

Put a tarpaulin over the roof,It will protect the house from rainy condition.IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT ONLY FOR SUMMER THEN LEAVE IT WITHOUT COVERING WITH A TARPAULIN.

sitting under this shade is pretty cooler than sitting under concrete roofs.

Step 8: USES

  • It will be useful as a summer shade
  • use it as a shade for chickens,they will take rest under the shade and also protect the chickens from hot weather
  • Kids will like to do it in the same manner as they make sand houses in the seashore
