Introduction: Tailor-made Heating Pad Cover
I like using hot-cold packs to keep my knees warm in winter when I'm watching television.
However, because I find it annoying that I have to keep still/lie still to avoid the hot-cold pack from slipping off, I decided to make a "tailor-made" cover for my knees.
This instructable shows a step by step to make one for yourself, or as a gift for someone.
Step 1: What You Need
To make a "tailor-made" hot-cold pack cover, you need:
- A tape measurer;
- Needle, thread (and a sewing machine if you have one);
- Scissors;
- Velcro;
- A hot-cold pack (or heating pad);
- Towel and fleece fabric.
This is actually a great project if you have an old towel you want to "recycle".
Step 2: Cut Your Cover From Towel Fabric
Step 3: Cut the Closure for Your Hotpack Cover
Step 4: Sew the Cover
Step 5: Sew the Cover (part 2) and Turn Inside Out
Step 6: Make the Hole for the Closure
Step 7: Attach the Velcro
Step 8: Wear It!
