Introduction: Taking Photos in a Mobile (in Natural Sunlight and Making It Darker Later)

Hi everyone!

I really enjoy taking photos for nature but as it is winter right now I have chose to do something using artificial flowers from what I had, This project did not take much space or time as well. Total time that I spent was 5-15 minutes, I was really happy the way this has turned out. Hope you this project In your home as well (please do remember that you don't have to use flowers but any object as well).

Supplies

-I used a SAMSUNG S20 phone, I have used its camera in a section called PRO.

-Artificial flowers

-Area like a desk or an open cupboard which is dark in color like black or dark brown.

-Natural Sunlight

Step 1: Placing

For the first step that I have shown where I have put my flower at I just used an open cupboard to do the photo, I had put the flower facing the sunlight directly (i did not use led lights because it doesn't give the most natural look based off of my opinion).

Step 2: Tools & Photoshop

I am using Samsung S21 to take the photo and the mode that I am using is "Pro" which gives you a lot of settings to play around with (including filters) which is easier to work with, so I am using pro. You can also use other Photoshop apps as well.

Step 3: Setting Changes

Over here I have shown a before picture and an after picture (editing).

Here are the things that I have changed:

-A 1/10 to A 1/45

-In the symbol where it shows the +/- I had to change it from 0 to -2.0

-I did not change AF at all but if you want to make your object blurry or sharp it is optional, but I did not change it.

-WB (White Balance) - A5200K to A4400K

Step 4: EDITING TOOLS

I used standard to finish off my project.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starting with Contrast by 10.

Contrast is a key element to convey certain moods through your images. High contrast photos pop out, shows textures in the subject and give a feeling of edginess, high energy and strength. High contrast is used a lot in street photography and nature photography.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Highlights by -3.

Highlights are important because they help create a more natural look for the image, they are essential if you want more to emphasis on the subject or any object.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shadows by -1 (I have not included an image of it)

Shadows add contrast, dimension, composition, and a sense of balance to a photo.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturation by 2.

Saturation refers to the intensity of a color.

The higher the saturation of a color, the more vivid it is. While increasing it can increase the feel of the vividness of the scene

The lower the saturation of a color, the closer it is to gray. Lowering the saturation of a photo can have a calming effect.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tint by 4.

The Tint tool allows you to add color tints over your image; making your effects really stand out or add a subtle filter.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Please keep in mind that it can change one object to another depending on how light / dark something is or size; color; shape; sharpness; blurry as well. **
