Tassel Necklace

Create a fun and easy leather tassel necklace. 

Step 1: Cut Leather

Cut 5 pcs of leather 1/8” wide and 7” long.

Step 2: Twist Wire

Twist about 16” of 26g silver wire around the middle of your leather strands, leaving an inch of wire loose to make a loop. Fold your leather strands in half.

Step 3: Make a Loop

Make a loop with your inch of wire and twist around the base of loop and snip. Tightly wrap the excess wire around your strands and snip.

Step 4: Trim

Trim bottom of tassel.

Step 5: Assemble

Insert a pc of wire, about 3 inches long through silver tassel loop, then insert both pieces of wire through a bead.
Add another bead, make loop and snip. Add chain.

Step 6: Finished

Have fun and embellish with more beads

You could go to a craft store and by some leather string or scraps
