Teach Your Dog How to Wave Hello/Goodbye

Supplies needed 1. clicker 2. treats 3. your hand 4. your dog 5. You

Step 1: Cup a Treat Inside Your Hand in Front of Your Dog Palm Facing Down

When he paws it, click and treat; if he mouths at your hand

Step 2: Continue the Cup and Paw, Raising Your Fist Little by Little

So from the ground to your dogs line of vision ( in sitting position) is the gradual incline.

Step 3: Add a Hand Gesture and a Verbal Cue

Ween off the fist and transition into a small hand wave while saying "wave" or "hi" or "bye" it doesn't matter the verbal cue as long as it is short-- ideally one to two syllables.
