Introduction: Teeth Candy
Teeth Candy is basically white crunchy teeth-shaped hard candy. Have you ever had that wonderful dream where all your teeth become loose and fall out? Have you woken up and wished that you could eat your teeth in real life? Now you can! Follow these simple instructions to relive your favorite nightmare over and over and over...
Step 1: Candy Teeth Ingredients
For the mold you will need:
Food-safe silicon rubber
At least 1 set denture teeth
Plastilina clay (or similar)
Plastic Container with a flat bottom
For the candy teeth you will need:
2 Cups sugar
1/2 Cup corn syrup
1 Teaspoon white food coloring
1/2 Teaspoon mint flavoring (optional)
1/4 Cup water

However, you are obviously free to get things where you please.
Step 2: Prepare for the Tooth Mold
Fill any cavities in the back side of the denture teeth with clay and smooth it flat.
Stick the teeth to the bottom of the plastic container.
Step 3: Mix the Silicone
Mix the silicone together 1:1 by volume. In other words, mix 1/4 cup of part A with a 1/4 cup of part B.
Step 4: Pour a Silicone Mold
Pour the silicone into the base of the plastic container in a very thin stream to the lowest point in the container you are using. Continue pouring until it is at least 1/2" higher than the top of the teeth.
Wait for it to set for a few hours.
Step 5:
When it is no longer tacky to the touch, remove the rubber from the mold.
Take the denture teeth out and save them for other uses.
Wash off the mold with soap and water before you use it for food.
Step 6: Cook the Hard Candy
In a medium sized sauce pan mix together the sugar, water, and corn syrup until all the sugar has been dissolved.
Cook to a boil on a medium high flame and leave it until the temperature reaches just under 300 degrees or the mixture starts to yellow.
You can tell that it is ready if you drop a little into a bowl of water and it solidifies.
Once it is ready, immediately remove from the burner.
Step 7: Mix in the Rest
Mix in the food coloring until it is a nice opaque white.
Now is also time to add the mint flavoring if desired.
Step 8: Insert Into the Mold
Very quickly and carefully fill each cavity of the mold with liquid candy.
The best way to do this is to pour it into the bottom of the mold in a thin stream with a metal spoon. You may also need to pack it in a little with the back of the spoon.
If candy gets everywhere, that is okay. You can break it off later.
I have also tried inserting the candy into the cavities with a glass dropper with mixed results. The candy tends to harden in the dropper rendering it unusable.
Step 9: Demold
Wait for the hard candy to solidify.
Remove it from the mold and break away any excess candy.
Step 10: Gross Everyone Out
Sure, there is a lot of gross-looking Halloween treats out there. However, none of them are truly as cringe-worthy as candy teeth. Watch everyone's face turn pale as you eat your teeth.

Even more fun: Pretend you just lost one of your teeth and show your friend you are now going to eat it - or show them how you are putting it back in your mouth.

I have had that dream, and it was terrible. My bracket was falling out WITH my teeth on and my gums were rotting and it was utterly disgusting and terrible -- I was REALLY beginning to wonder what the dentist would say! :D

I was just explaining this to my grandson, how we pretended our teeth fell out. Funny!!

No I do not like those kinds of dreams.
Yes it would be nice to grow a new set of teeth.
But to eat them? Hummmmmm
Fun project. :)
Also are you a dentist?

I'm not sure a dentist would advocate for pure sugar treats haha, tooth shaped or otherwise.
