Introduction: Temporary Lock for Friction Folders

Let me start by explaining friction folders. A friction folding knife is a non-locking knife that has the tang (the part of the knife behind the blade) extended out so when the knife fold into an open position, your palm keeps it from closing(as shown in the last photo). This knife happens to be the svord peasant knife. I really like this knife but I've had it cut me before when using it from it closing on me. This mod provides a temporary lock for the knife the keeps it on the open position. WARNING: although this is a temporary lock, it will not substitute for a real lock. Do not put this knife to hard use. If you use your knife correctly, you shouldn't have the knife close on you.

very nice pimped Svord Peasant btw. I think i't a nice idea to keep the blade colsed in your pocket but it's kinda bad when you want to close it and you have to remove the zip tie first

I think this is wayyy more practical than my zip tie contest entry...so the contest is going to be real tough for me!

Haha my idea was simple and pretty bad considering that your using an object that could potential hurt you. I like your idea, it's less of a danger.
