Introduction: Thanksgiving Leftovers Hand Pies

Every year since we have had our own place, we look forward to the day after thanksgiving more than thanksgiving itself. We use all the leftovers to make 3 bite mini hand pies. They are such a hit in my house, that every thanksgiving and christmas we make them the day after we cook the turkey!

Step 1: Make Pie Crust, or Roll Out Store Bought Pie Dough.

roll out your dough and cut it with a small bowl to be circles.

Step 2: Fill Your Pies, Bake and Brush With Butter.

Using leftover thanksgiving ingredients like stuffing, turkey, taters, cranberries and gravy; fill your circles and close them with the other side. You will want to use like 1-2 tablespoons of filling for the small size in the picture. You can use some drops of water to make each side stick. Fold over each side and use a fork to seal the dough. To ensure the dough keeps shape, pop each filled pie into the freezer for a few minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. brush with melted butter and garnish with herbs. best way to use thanksgiving leftovers ever!
