Introduction: The Art of Blue Flames

About: 16 years old student from germany love maths, chemistry and physics interested in photography, arduino and raspberrypi

Have you ever sat by an extinguishing fire?
It became cold and you had no logs to put into?

Have you tried to burn a cardboard box?

Don't waste your time waiting for warmth or light.
Take your smartphone and become an artist.

Step 1: What You'll Need

A smarphone with a camera app, which is able to make negative photos.

Step 2: Start Making Photos

Make photos from different positions, different widths etc..
Be creative and try out all which is coming to your mind.
You can also try to make a video.

If the fire is down, you can throw a cardboard box into the fire and film how it burns up.
It's a quite cool effect. The more darker it is outside, the more better you can see the fire, because black turns into white. And the more darker it is, the more better you can make "longtime" exposures, because your smarphone needs a lot of time to make a photo.

Have you seen blue lines and curves in front of the "white night"?
Then you've captured flying sparks in negative. Congrats.

Have fun :)
