Introduction: The Excellent Omelet

For this Instructable, I will be demonstrating how to create a ham and cheese omelet. It is a simple yet tasty meal to make that does not take too much time to make. It can be a great choice for breakfast for people with a busy schedule and hearty appetite.

Read the following steps to get started.

Supplies

- 3 eggs

- 3 oz ham (diced)

- 1 tbs. butter/vegetable oil

- ¼ c. Cheese

-8 inch frying pan

-whisk

-spatula

-plate/fork

-bowl

Step 1: Step 1: Preparation

Now that everything is gathered, you can begin with dicing the ham into small cubes. After these are cubed, turn the heat of the stove on to medium heat with the frying pan on. Put the oil or butter into the pan and let heat up. While this is happening, crack the three eggs into the bowl, whisk the eggs until mixed thoroughly.

Step 2: Step 2: Cooking

Once the pan is heated well you can slowly pour the egg mixture into the pan. Let the egg sit for 2-3 minutes and be sure that it is cooked well without runny egg. Once cooked, place the cheese and ham in the center of the omelet. Then use the spatula to flip over a third of the omelet onto itself as shown in the photo.

Step 3: Step 3: Final Touches

Now that it is cooked, you can do the final flip for the omelet. If you wish to add cheese or ham on top of the cooked omelet feel free to do so. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top and enjoy the final product.
