Introduction: The Golden Egg

In this Instructable I'll show you how I made The Golden Egg from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". When the Egg is open, you will here music playing. If you want, you can also make the lights turn off when the Egg is closed and turn on when the Egg is open.

Step 1: Things You Need

For this project I used:

- Arduino UNO

- Adafruit NeoPixel Ring - 16 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers

- SD Card Module Reader AMS1117 3.3 H1518

- 1x Transistor BC547B

- 1x Transistor BC639

- 10k Ohm Resistor

- 2x Speakers, 8 ohm, 0.5W

- Male to Female cables

- Diode 1N4004

Step 4: Building the Egg and Hiding the Wires

For the end result I used this tutorial to make the Egg:

After that I made some holes in the plastic egg so I can put the NeoPixel ring inside of it. The SD Reader, Breadboard, Arduino, and everything else in a wooden box
