10 1/2-11" in length, with a stretchy 19" circumference.

Supplies

1-2 Skeins of Heartland Lion Brand
or similar aran type yarn.

Size 5 mm Us 8 Circular needles

Stitch marker

Yarn needle for sewing

Step 1: Let's Begin!

Gauge

16 stitches = 4 inches

24 rows = 4 inches

Ribbing - Brim

5 stitches = 1 inch

8 Rows = 1 inch

Step 2: Pattern

CO 84 stitches

Join in the round carefully not to twist.

Place marker. Brim (Ribbing) *K2, P2* repeat for approx.1 inch

Hat (Knit every round) Knit in the round for approx 10 1/2 inches in length. (You can knit longer for slouchier look)

Decrease K2tog in the round. Continue knitting 2 together until you have about 15 stitches left on the needle. Break yarn. Weave in. Turn hat inside out and sew and secure.
