Supplies

1.  Freshly Washed Hair ( 6 inches or more)

2.  Spray Bottle

3.  Curl Custard

4.  Wide tooth Comb

5. Edge Brush

6.   Hair Oil

7.  Bonnet/Silk scarf

8.Eco Styler and Edge Control

9.Clamps and Hair Ties

Step 1: Section Hair Into 4 Sections

For the best results, start on freshly washed hair. If hair is dry or dries during the process use spray bottle filled with water.

Using the wide tooth comb, separate your hair into 4 sections.

Once hair is in 4 sections, use clamps to hold each section into place.

Now take the wide tooth comb, and detangle the hair. Start detangling from the bottom of the hair. Do not detangle starting at the top of the hair or one may cause tears and knots in the hair.

Step 2: Add Oil to Scalp

After detangling all sections, take one section out of the clamp.

Split the one section into smaller sections.

As splitting into smaller sections, oil the scalp with the hair oil.

Massage the oil on to your scalp with the index finger.

This step helps moisturize the scalp to prevent any dryness, dandruff, or sores.

Step 3: Add Eco Styler and Hair Custard

In the smaller section, take the eco styler and apply it to the base of the hair. This helps the hair to lay flat.

Then add the curl custard to the hair. This help strength the hair, define the hair texture, and controls the frizziness.

Step 4: Starting the Twist

Now that the hair is defined and hydrated, part the hair into an even smaller section.

Split the hair into three strands to start a braid.

Only braid the base of the hair not the entire section.

Now take the stand of hair that is farthest left and pull it all the way over to the right.

Pull every strand that is on the left to the right.

Keep doing this until the hair forms a twist. Be careful, sometimes a braid forms due to muscle memory.

To keep the hair in place at the end, twirl the hair at the end with the index finger.

Step 5: Twist Entire Head

Continue Steps 2-4 to complete the entire head.

Once the hair is finished entirely, let the style air dry on its own.

The 3 Strand Twist can last for 4 weeks if managed properly.

Step 6: Style 1: the Half Up Half Down

Split the twist evenly going horizontal.

Take a hair tie and place the twist that are above the horizontal line into a pony tail.

The hair below the horizontal line should fall freely.

Now take the edge control and apply it to the baby hair.

Then use the edge brush to smooth the edges control onto the baby hair

During nightly routine, place bonnet or statin scarf to protect the hair from frizz and unraveling

Step 7: Style 2: Space Bun

Split the hair even vertically.

Take one hair tie and place the hair to the left side of the line into a pony tail.

Take the twist and twirl them into a bun, then place another hair tie around the bun to secure it.

Do the same steps for the right side. Make sure the buns are evenly placed on the head.

Now take the edge control and apply it to the baby hair.

Then use the edge brush to smooth the edges control onto the baby hair

During nightly routine, place bonnet or statin scarf to protect the hair from frizz and unraveling
