The Real Hot Chocolate

This is the best recipe for hot chocolate I have found. Its probably because its made with real chocolate. The quality of chocolate you use with highly effect the taste of this drink. It's a nice treat for a cold night. This recipe can also be found at gardengirlrecipes.com.

Ingredients:
2 cups milk

2 ounces milk chocolate

2 ounces dark chocolate

optional toppings:

whipped cream

Step 1: Heat Milk & Chocolate

In a saucepan, heat the milk and the chocolate over medium heat. Mix until the chocolate is melted and fully incorporated.

Step 2: Whisk Milk

Whisk the milk mixture for 10-20 seconds until frothy,

Step 3: Pour Into a Mug

Pour the hot chocolate into a mug.

Step 4: Add Whipped Cream

If using, add a heaping spoon of whipped cream over the hot chocolate and serve.
