Introduction: The S.R.S.E
Heellloooo!
This is my latest rifle (14/11/2011). It is a slingshot rifle with lots of different features, lets take a look...
It has a true trigger which pulls a broken orange connector down, releasing the sling. A completely new sight mount which is easily up/down adjustable (a purple 3d piece which the sight is mounted on slides into a blue 3d piece on the gun), a new squeeze safety in which you squeeze when you want safety off and as soon as you let go it turns back on again (situated just below the trigger), ammo holder, cheek rest, replica bolt (but it does open the chamber), sturdy stock, half barrel (see below), bottom rail and comfotable thumb hole grip! Its very accurate and powerful, it can go through a bullseye target on a standard sheet of A4 up to 30ft!!!! (Range approx. 80-100ft)
The barrel is my own design, I call it a half barrel because when you put a grey con instead of sinking down between two yellow cons it sinks half way down, leaving the other half exposed for the sling to hook onto! This is really useful a the shot will go as straight as a normal barrel but still be able for the sling too hook onto like a line of connectors!!!
PROS:
-Looks great
-Good size
-Detachable sights
-Awesome scope
-New half barrel design!
-Squeeze safety
-Cheek rest
-Very accurate for size (bullseye through paper target up to 30ft)
-Adjustable sights
-Ammo holder
-LOTS of attachments
CONS:
-Not very weighty
-Slow reload (like all slingshots)
That's it! Tell me what you think!
-Cazadactle

The stock looks a tad weak.
Reply 10 years ago on Introduction
actually it is quite strong as it is three layers thick in all the parts attached to the body!

Firstly, 3 layers thick is really too thin for a stock like this. Secondly, from experience, most rifles should use 5 - 6 layers.

sorry but I don't have that many pieces so I have to work with what I have :( But I got a load today off ebay so I will try to make better guns, I am currently updating this model into a sniper so expect that soonish!!

Awesome! I gave you 4.5 stars and do you think you could post instructions because I would totally build it if you did.

Maybe but when I get more pieces (and after I build my new high piece slingshot rifle) I will probably revisit this one as it was pretty reliable...
