This is the Screaming Vortex, a giant human-powered vehicle that uses 7-foot fanblades to propel people down the railroad tracks. This footage is from the Handcar Regatta in Santa Rosa, California.

this would be cool, I think, if we could actually SEE the way the vehicle was built and works like in an INSTRUCTABLE
