The Smallest and Simplest Usb Led Ever

In this Instructable I will show you how to build the smallest and simplest usb led ever. The dimension are 19mm X 12mm X 6mm.

Step 1: Gather Materials

Here is a list of things you need for the Instructable.
1-USB port PCB board
1-6volt led (IT MUST BE 6VOLT OR YOU WILL BURN OUT YOUR LED)

Tools
solder
soldering iron

Step 2: Making the Usb Led

First solder the led to the USB port PCB as labeled in the photo below.

Step 3: Uses

So now that you have made the USB led you're probably thinking what do I do with it now. Well if you have a minty boost, portable USB charger or any other devise that supply 5volts via usb then you can use it as a flash light. What is the point of this?

one of my friends had http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/usb-gadgets/ceca/ this. I made him a flashlight for it. it had nine LEDs and it was on a little cable for holding while using.
