What a great idea! I have tons of pencils my kids refuse to refill. Now I have something useful to do with them at the lab.

Make sure they are the same size, I used 1mm solder in a 0.9mm mechanical pencil and I had to break off the tip of the pencil so it would work

I'm not sure what you have done. Can you explain a little more detail of how you made this?

I put a long piece of solder instead of regular graphite so i can use it for small and precise soldering
