I said that ratchet guns usually don't get that range. The barrel on this is too short to get great range. Have you ever tried fin ammo??

Yes, knex funs shoot that far. That or I am insane. I have gotten ranges like that dozens of times.

First: normal rods will never get more then 80 feet. Ever.

Second: to get long range, the shot must be angled.

Third: the fin ammo must be skillfully built.

Forth: I hate arguing about if knex guns shoot really far, or not. I hate arguing about if I have had a profile on this site. So how about we just agree that we have different opinions, and leave it at that. I have a gun coming up that has a DOP style trigger/trigger guard. I would like to know what you think of it when I post it, and not just argue.

But really, I doubt it just a bit. Ratchet guns, even with fin ammo, don't usually shoot that far. Pin guns shoot better for me then slingshots.

It is okay but maybe you could try a new handle and some other things to make it better.
