Introduction: The Super Duper Paper Hexagon Transformer Toy!!!
This instructable will teach you how to make a paper toy that will blow your mind!!! This toy can keep turning inside-out without stopping!!! It can be a fun project to occupy a few hours! NOTE: This is NOT my design completely, I have seen a bunch of other people making ones like this, however I think that I provide more customization to it! :)
Step 1: Materials
For this toy, you will need the following:
Scissors
Tape
Markers or coloring stuff (completely optional)
Cardstock or other hard paper (you can use paper but it won't look that nice...)
IF YOU DO NOT USE THE HANDY TEMPLATE I GIVE YOU:
Ruler
Pencil
Download the handy template I have made for you!! You can just print it out and it's ready to go!

Step 2: Assembling the Squares
First, if you want to use this handy template that I made for your convenience, simply download it and print it out on a piece of cardstock or other hard paper.
If the test line is not 3 inches, don't worry, it doesn't really matter as long as you don't mind it a little bigger or smaller.
SO
First cut out a 3 by 3 cardstock square (make sure it's square) and fold it in half. Make two X's that fit EXACTLY on each half of the paper, leaving the crease you made earlier to divide the center of each of the squares.
Fold the square, folding it on each solid line.
Then, (if you want to) color each of the squares that roughly assembles the way I colored it. (big diamond in the middle, triangles on the side, etc.)
Repeat this process until you have 3 folded squares!

Step 3: Tape It All Together
Now, take each square and tape it together MAKING SURE THAT EACH DIAMOND IS TOUCHING THE OTHER'S TIP.
See the picture for a more detailed view! (notice how the ends form a diamond)
Tape all your squares together like this, then tape the ends together to make a tube! Also, tape the backs for extra safety!

Step 4: Making It Work
Now, take the edge of your tube and fold it in making sure to follow the picture.
Then, fold it in farther revealing the second diamonds that are joined with tape.
While holding the end in place, repeat that with the other end so it looks like the fourth picture.
Next, push the end ALL the way in and it should give in and let you twirl the insides out and the outsides in!
After that, turn to the side that has open flaps that need taping!!! Tape the flaps close and it should work!
