The Simplest Laser Show Ever!!!
Intro: The Simplest Laser Show Ever!!!
This is an awesome laser show, and it is fairly cheap, using some stuff you have lying around, like:
-a laser (you can use more that one),
-a test tube stand for each laser (that the laser can rest on),
-stereo speakers that have a subwoofer in them, and can be pumped pretty loud,
-a small, light mirror fragment (about 1/2in. squared)
-a piece of light cloth,
-an embriodery hoop big enough to strech the full cloth over
-scotch tape,
-and som really bass-filled music that can be played through the speakers

STEP 1: Making the Hoop
take the embriodery hoop and stretch the fabric piece over it and lock it there. then, use superglue to attatch the mirror to the center of the fabric.
STEP 2: Setting Up the Show
setting up is easy. you hook up the stereo system, and connect your music player. then you duct tape the hoop in front of the subwoofer. put the laser pointer into the laser stand, tighten it, and aim it at the mirror so it reflects to the approximate middle of a blank area on a wall or ceiling. then scotch tape the laser button down, and you are ready to have a show. to have your show, start the volume low , then keep increasing it till you get a satasfactory vibration of the laser, without ear-injuring sound.

STEP 3: Adding On
some things you can do to add on are:
-use multiple lasers
-shine a projector at the mirror (you will need a bigger mirror)
-adjust the equalizer so the bass is turned up more than the treble
-hook it up to an electric piano, and set it to one something bassy (i recommend dance bass or piccolo), it will create more recognizable shapes

Can it work with any laser pointer, like the ones that you can pick up at Target for $1.50?
