Intro: Theft Detector - Arduino

Hi Guys,

I have made a Theft detecting system to find out any theft or movement near your home, vehicle or outside of the door during suspect times.

Simply this system will blink your light in a way like alarm so that the theft has no way than running away and people around will be alerted.

STEP 1: Things You Need

Here is a list of things you need:

1. PIR sensor

2. Arduino programming board

3. Relay module - one channel

4. Tungsten bulb

5. Jumper wires etc.

STEP 2: Connections

You have to connect PIR sensor with Arduino. Relay module with Arduino and then the Bulb with Relay module.

Note:

There are two LEDs Red and Green connected for inside indication, but that is not necessary. You can have them if you want.

Now if you have connected them as mentioned above, Please fix the PIR sensor where you want to monitor, where you want to prevent the theft from.

And the bulb, you have to fix where you have to have the alert; It can either be the same location or somewhere inside where you want to get the alert.

However using adequate wiring you get to connect everything together with the controlling Arduino board.

STEP 3: Coding

If you have done everything as mentioned up to now, Now you can proceed to the coding.

STEP 4: Demonstration


Now it's time to demonstrate.

I hope you have watched the video as well and made things in a fine way.

So just power up your system, and demonstrate.

Ask someone to move around the place, door, or vehicle near which you have fixed the PIR sensor.

You will see your bulb is blinking in an alerting manner like in ambulances. (well you can have a buzzer as well in the same line if you want). This will make the thief to freak out and run away!!! Like I have demonstrated in my video!!!
