As the title suggests this instructable shows you how to make a mouse that
fits inside a Tic-Tac box .It should be a quite inexpensive.it only took me an
hour or two.

Step 1: What You Need

what you need:

bigger stuff:
1. basic tool kit.
2.digital multimeter (optional.)
3.mouse (which you are willing to take apart.)
4.soldering iron.

smaller stuff:
5.electrical wire .
6.a blade (a scissors will do).
7.push button switch.
8.Tic-Tac box
9.thin wire.

you will also need something capable of cutting a pcb.
I used a hack saw held in place with a vice.

Step 2: Taking Apart the Mouse

My mouse was held together by a single screw on the bottom.
When its open you should remove the two rollers that contact the mouse ball
and the main circuit board.

Step 3: Cutting

mark the width of you'r tic-tac box on the pcb.
then wit your cutting tool cut it down to size.

Step 4: Putting in the Rollers

Insert the pcb into the box .then mark the strip your
going to cut as shown in the picture below it should
be just wide enough for the roller to fit in. when you
have the roller in the edge should just pass the sensor.
when you have it in place make a pair of holes along side
the roller shaft and pass the thin wire through them to secure
the roller to the box.

Step 5: Inserting Button

Get your push button switch a solder two wires to two of the legs.
make two holes in the box and feed the wires from the buttons through
it and out the top then you have to find the two pins on the pcb that were
connected to the left button when you find them solder the two wires
from the push button to them.

Step 6: Finished!

You'r finished.
