Obsessed with photography but stuck in your home? No problem... here's a prop that you can use for clicking some creative yet interesting photos out of some simple objects.

Supplies

Tin Foil (Crushed one preferred)

Lights of different types (As per your taste)

Camera (No... you don't need a high end one. All these pics are clicked using mobile phone camera... Motorola G5)

Step 1: Using Your Lamp As Primary Light Source

You need a proper background and lights placed for the setup. You probably would need a helping hand. (Experience speaks)

Here, I stood with my left hand holding the foil over the lamp hood and right hand capturing the image.

As you cover the hood using tin foil, it reflects light down making some sparkling, dusky look over the objects.

Step 2: Using Candles As a Secondary Light Source

You can lift the image up using some extra lights from burning candles or can use them as a background substitute.

Use different sized candles for better composition.
Use foils behind candles to make the infinite sparkles. This could be used to showcase a candle as the priority object in a picture.

Step 3: Using an Electronic Device As a Primary Light Source

Here I used my android tablet as the primary and the only light source for the scene.
Using some random object to make a different kind of composition.
One sided lights are suitable for making shadowed effect in the picture.

Step 4: Using an Electronic Device As the Primary Light Source - II

A different approach to use lights. Keeping the object on the tablet screen with highest brightness, surrounded with foil.
The foil reflects colors from its surrounding, enhancing the composition.

Step 5: Editing (Optional)

Well, the captured images were good, a little color and composition tweaking, makes the image flawless.
Camera quality does matter... The better camera you have, the lesser tweaking you'd be making out of the camera.
Caution! When using foil around candles, they might burn when kept near for too longer. (Experience Speaks)
