Intro: Toiletpaper Holder Made From Scrap/Scrapwood

Well here´s all litlle thing we all need, a toiletpaper holder.

in most cases these things are made of chinese plastic or cheap chromed thin metal.
so when we refinished our flat i think about doing this better by spending no money!

So i lokked at things i dont need any longer and found some piece of wood, my old bycicle bottom bracket and some used
metal angles.

All i had to do was saw out an suitable piece of the wood, finish it a bit with a niche curve and rim, paint with a little leftover of
mahagoni varnish, do  the angles on and pin it to the wall.

I hope you folks like it.

Nice design, but an Instructable is supposed to show HOW you did that, not just the finished product.
Questions:
- What is a bicycle bottom bracket and how / where did you use it?
- What is a niche curve?
- I don't see a rim; where's the rim?
- What do you mean by 'do the angles on it'?
- Most importantly (for me), how did you 'pin it to the wall'?

I have one of those cheap plastic ones and it has died. I'd like to replace it and I thought this looked nice, but there's not enough information for me to do anything with it.
Actually.. an instructible could be either just photos (to inspire), or a step-by-step, or a video..
But yes, I'd like to see a bit more detail please.. If Falkenberg doesn't mind..
at least a close-up picture of the bracket from the side to see how you put in a new roll..

Again, nice wood finishing! i like it..
Hello,
There´s a little update coming so you can see better the parts and it´s more comprehensible how to build it.
