Intro: Torx to the Rescue!

Broken bike and no metric allen wrench?  I was in this desperate situation and out of need tried a Torx bit.  It worked on all my bike sizes........ I'm just saying......... FYI....... :)

I'm surprised never coming across this six edged bit before.

Is  Torx  the bit name or the manufacturer or both ?

Bit name. They keep getting more popular and they even have a safety screw.

when you do not have the correct tool for the job, intuition & common sense tell you to use whatever means works to get the job done.

Is it a popular philosophy??
in my opinion, who cares if it is or not....it works. 8)
